Aim and scope
Pharmadvances is the Official Journal of SIF – Società Italiana di Farmacologia. It is a four-month and peer-reviewed e-journal in English and the Authors publish open access under the terms of the Creative Commons License, type CC BY-NC (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License).
Which manuscripts does the journal host?
Impressive advances in Pharmacology, drug discovery and clinical sciences occurred during the past 15 years, contributing more to the progress of medicine than any other scientific factor. A paradigm shift is taking place also in pharmaceutical research, moving from a closed and isolated process to a new open model: innovation is more and more generated through international networks, where skills and excellence seemingly distant from each other can meet. Industry-academic research partnerships have indeed become a new R&D model for gaining access to cutting-edge science and new technologies.
This scenario demands new tools to promote, stimulate and support the international research network on pharmacological fields.
Pharmadvances is devoted to an international audience of pharmacologists and clinicians. The Journal aims to expand the horizon of this scientific discipline and to encourage high-quality international research.
